product description Pressure and temperature transmitter TST-TPSI

The combination sensors of the TST-TPSI transmitters series have been developed for the parallel and independent measured value acquisition of pressure and temperature at only one measuring point. For this purpose, the proven TIVAL pressure transmitter with fully welded, dry stainless steel measuring cell and compact stainless steel housing has been supplemented by an internal temperature sensor. The additional temperature sensor is integrated into the process connection. In addition to accurate measurement of pressure in pressure ranges from 0 ... +1 bar to 0 ... +1000 bar, the temperature within a measuring range of -40 ... +125 °C can be measured simultaneously at the same mounting position. For a short time, media temperatures of -50 ... +150 °C are permissible, which therefore correspond to the complete measuring range.

The measured pressure and temperature values can either be selected as a ratiometric output signal (pressure signal 0.5 ... 4.5 V DC ratiometric / temperature signal 0.25 ... 4.75 ratiometric) or as a combination of 0 ... 10 V DC analog output for the pressure and 0.25 ... 4.75 V DC output for the temperature. The fact that the the temperature sensor is integrated in the process connection allows an additional meausurement of the temperature that does not affect the volume flow of the medium. But this type of construction design requires a longer response time for the measured temperature value.

The TST-TPSI combi sensor is especially suitable for thermally inert processes in which pressure and temperature have to be measured simultaneously in extremely tight spaces. Since only one mounting position has to be provided for both measured values, it is possible to construct smaller and more compact and significantly reduce installation and cabling costs.
