The TST-SKL high-temperature pressure transmitters are designed for applications with temperature requirements above + 125 ° C and for measurement applications in environments with high thermal loads. The high-temperature pressure transmitters are equipped with a stainless steel cooling section mounted infront of of the original sensor process connection, to protect the pressure transmitter's evaluation electronics from the high process temperatures.
This structural adaptation enables the permanent use of the TST-SKL at ambient temperatures of -40 ... +105 ° C and media temperatures of -40 ... +160 ° C. Up to a duration of max. 15 minutes, the pressure measurement is even possible at elevated temperatures up to +180 ° C.
If a measuring task permanently requires media temperatures of more than +160 ° C, there is also the option of detaching the evaluation electronics from the pressure measuring cell by means of a Teflon cable. The electronics can be installed further away from the process, in a cooler environment. In this way, a pressure measurement for processes with even higher media and ambient temperatures can be realized on request.
